Talk To Strangers

 Talk to strangers that you meet, 

on a train or in the street...

...on a bus, or on a tube, 

you might say "But, isn't that rude?

 

Weren't we taught from very young, 

to put a halt upon our tongue?"

That might be true but that was then, 

so start a new and make a friend. 

We must re-learn to simply speak, 

instead of turn the other cheek. 

Stuck for words? Then let's begin, 

with our lips curved to form a grin. 

Don't complain about the weather, 

dance in the rain, all together. 

 When they leave don't be a mug,

 instead of grieve, give them a hug. 

Do not bite 'coz talk is free,

 treat them like your family. 

Take a lesson from our young,

 No separation, 'coz we're one.
