Food Gratitude

Let me become one, 

with every crumb, 

& every green soma,

that enters my tum.

Let this divine, 

lettuce entwine,

& intermingle with every single,

 organ of mine.

Allow me to air,

this love affair,

that feels so sublime,

with this avocado pear.

I truly bless, 

all that I ingest,

be it holy water,

or watercress.

I gracefully attune,

with every spoon,

of sacred elixier,

that I consume.

I am humbly grateful,

for every plateful,

that sits abundantly,

 on this table.

I thank & I pray, 

for this wide array,

that nature has offered,

me today.
