Ego

 The ego says I already know,

leave me alone, I don't need to grow.

The ego says I'm OK how I am,

I enjoy the mess, what's your problem man?

The ego insists "Let me swim in shit,

can't you see I like it?

The ego cries "I don't want to die,

rather kill myself than expose my lies".

The ego fools, "I know it all".

When the ego rules, your world is small.

There goes the ego, what give up me? Never,

it will not let go, it's way to clever. 

The ego affirms I've nothing to learn,

what can of worms? Hell fire, burn. 

Ego, your no.1 Enemy,

keeping you from "The Energy" 

"See, I was right after all". 

The ego mask is laughable. 

The ego claims "I am the One,

give me fame, the rest are dumb".

The ego delves into the divine, 

then raids the shelves, then says, "You're mine". 

The ego likes to keep you cold, 

like cubes of ice that wont dissolve. 

The ego is a problem dweller,

it's like a foreign Predator. 

The ego's yellow, evil is reviled,

the ego will sell you to the Devil. 

The ego states don't push my buttons,

don't dare to break my lifetime pattern. 

The ego back chats "Wot ya trying to say? 

You're in my track, move out the way!!" 

The ego likes to separate, 

says "They are shite & I am great." 

Ego claims "It's me that's sane,

 let me be, I like my pain."

He enjoys iffing & butting, & laying down the law,

 the ego says there's nothing, behind closed doors. 

The ego is tortoise hiding in its shell. 

 the ego hasn't taught us, to open very well. 

The ego's an art of false self defence,

 his heart is closed & keeps us dense. 

The ego shouts, "Hey, look at me, 

I'm Ego spelt with a capital E." 

He thinks it's centre of the town, 

so when he enters, bring him down.
