The War Memorial

The War Memorial

It is very unfortunate that countless soldiers fought in the wars, and that so many lost their lives in battle, and it is fair that people should be free to pay their respects to these men for doing what they believed to be right at the time. It is especially understandable that it may be an emotional for those who may have lost their loved ones to war. It is very commendable for any man to risk his life because he believed that he was protecting his family and his country.  But, it is more important to ask the question

'Who Are The Benefactors Of These Wars?' Who funds the arms industries, and what are their agendas, and even more importantly how can we prevent future wars from occurring?

It has also been said that wars are funded from both sides, so bear that in mind.

It is also important to know that not all wars involve bombs and fighter jets.  Sometimes wars can be silent.  For more information on this, you might like to read the document 'Silent weapons for quiet wars'.  But more importantly, it is vital that we learn from the past so that we do not make the same mistakes again, and begin to learn who our real enemies are. After all, no-one should suffer needlessly, especially not in today's world that is portrayed as being so 'advanced'. Let us use our advancements to our betterment and create a more harmonious world together.
