Banana Ice Cream



Do you like to eat ice-cream? 
In the heat it tastes supreme.

This version is dairy free, 
and good for your economy. 

It cannot be faked in tubs, 
here is how you make this grub... 


It contains a common fruit, 
there simply is no substitute. 

Ripe bananas are the key, 
for each person, allow three. 

Take off the skin and throw them in, 
the freezer contained in something. 


When one night you have passed, 
they're ready to use at last. 

I prefer mine smooth like cream, 
this will occur with a machine. 

A food processor does the trick, 
blend it up and have a lick. 


Pick your choice of additives, 
wild and imaginative. 

Knickerbocker free-style, 
pick a topper, give a smile. 

Add fresh dates, or sun-dried fruit, 
grate a little ginger root. 

One fat spoon of raw almond cream, 
pecans whole, just two or three. 

Desiccated coconut, 
is sure to satisfy gut. 

Fresh wild berries, sweet or sour, 
sprinkle in some carob flour. 

Maple syrup, mango sorbet, 
cashew nut butter, any day. 

Banana split with orange zest, 
I would happily ingest. 

Essence from vanilla pods, 
peach melba, the food for Gods. 

Hazelnuts and almond flakes, 
cinnamon for heavens sake.

Throw in an array of frozen berries, 
top with a morello cherry. 

A sprig of mint to decorate, 
I think I'll serve it on a plate. 

Finish with an orange twist, 
improvise, you get the gist. 

At last it is ready to eat, 
so wish yourself Bon Appetite!
