Your Choice

 Life is packed with lots of choice, 

there are no facts, just our own voice. 

It's a game of hit and miss, 

so if in doubt, remember this... 

Unless you wish to be a clone, 

be bold and proud to stand alone. 

Perception of normality,

 is far from originality. 

What we see upon first glance, 

has meaningless circumstance. 

Observe the space that's all around you, 

we must come to face a new. 

The issue now should be addressed, 

foolish is our short sightedness.

 For sometimes it is hard to see, 

the woodland as opposed to trees. 

Before long, neither will be seen, 

as desert blankets all that's green...

 ...until we turn from where we're heading, 

and stop all nature meddling. 

Natural laws don't need enforcing, 

forever more, there's no divorcing. 

Universal laws stay still, 

 forever and a day, they're real. 

If nature dies we will die too, 

it wasn't me that made the rules. 

Will you regret if things collapse? 

We only get one chance, perhaps. 

The saying blind leading the blind, 

keeps on playing in my mind. 

Society behave like sheep,

 majority are fast asleep. 

It doesn't have to be this way, 

but we need more than hope and prey. 

Adopt ostrich mentality, 

or be your own authority. 

Initiative is needed here, 

if we're to live on this earth, free of fear.

Once you realise what's at stake, 

revise each action that you take. 

People have to take a stand, 

others join them hand in hand. 

To climb our way out of this mess, 

just listen to your consciousness.
