Vain Brain
The human race, gone
in the brain,
gotta face it, we're
insane.
It's that blatant, it's
that plain,
something's latent so
life's no game.
What's my name, it's Lisa
Jane,
but I ain't saying this
shit for fame.
Look at what we have
became,
a microdot could not
explain.
Refrain, I exclaim,
we ain't what we like to
claim.
Ego got us by a ball and
chain,
blind to our blindness,
so we feel no shame.
Givin' it the biggen when
we can't sustain,
'cause we aint diggin' on
the right terrain.
Thought trains, are too
vain,
they're giving me one big
fat migraine.
Life's mundane, I must
complain,
'cause we're looking at
life through a window pane.
Vanity has now ingrained,
insanity is what remains.
A little more than an
ankle sprain,
perception doors did not
remain.
Standin' out in the
pouring rain,
fear and doubt left us
restrained.
Trapped in hell, we are
detained,
we ain't well in the
membrane.
So get on a plane, and go
to Spain,
but you're only coming
back to your scatter brain.
Filled with fear like
we're whipped by canes,
our hemispheres were once
the same.
Crash landing, now mind
frame,
and understanding is down
the drain.
You think you're smug,
sippin champaigne,
filthy drugs, snorting
cocaine?
Listen up and do not
strain,
we're missing some fatty
acid chains.
Human's lit, the friggin
flame,
& now we're sick, so
who's to blame?
Sugar cane, empty grains,
that don't fuel no complex
brains.
Eat your fruit and your
romaine,
ain't no dispute that you
will gain.
Cold as ice, we must
reclaim,
paradise, then life's a
game.
