Fragile Existence

Fragile Existence

Life is dependent, on so god damn much,
but somehow we forget this, 'cause we're well out of touch.

It could all break down, at any given moment,
like rot and decay, mere compounds, components.

The lighting, the heating, the telly, the phone,
the food that we eat, and our very own home.

How would we thrive, like way back in the jungle?
As easy as pie? If you think you're a dumb fool.

Our clothes and our shoes, We're domesticated animals,
Our books and our news, about how we're basically cannibals.

Showers and lav's, for example, for instance,
we really have, such a fragile Existence.

Juicers and blenders, cookers and stoves,
it's all round the bend, and yet no body knows.

Internet, computers, and games, DVD's,
Put it all on mute, 'cause it's well out of key.

Hourly, daily, we take it all for granted,
We pop out them babies, become uncles and auntie's.

Does anyone ask, where we gain our resources?
It's on fat dirty task, we're like horses on courses

A far cry from organic, a far cry from true wealth,
we're polluting our planet, and polluting ourselves.

Fighting for oil, with our heads in the sand,
when we ain't set our eyes, on the soil, the land.

Chemicals, plastics, degrade quickly, not,
yet we think that it's drastic, to give em back to the shop?!

We're seduced by these concepts, and philosophize why,
Do we think that these objects, just fall out of the sky!?

We just plug it in, at our leisure, desire,
but i have an inkling, that something ain't wired!

Humanity's tumbled, and is living a lie,
fact is, in the jungle, we'd blatantly die!!
