The Miracle Of Life

Life is a miracle,
Just the fact we’re alive,
But our minds are so cynical,
                  They just can’t recognise.

We should be bawling,
At the sight of a tree,
But instead we are mourning,
‘cause we can’t rightly see.

Our intellects dilution,
Is 1000’s to one.
Our left-brains intrusion,
Has left our heart numb.

The world is miraculous,
We should all be in love see.
Instead we read atlases,
And frantically study.

We cry out for connection,
We know this is the real point.
In desperate recollection,
We reach out for a joint.

They say love is everything,
But that is just words,
Weak, left-brain medicine,
That’s not really heard.

Joy is so simple,
It can’t be understood.
We needn’t think at all,
In pursuit to feel good.

Intead of marvel,
Our mind’s in tight clenches.
We have lost our marbles,
and lost our darn senses.

Life should be sacred,
But instead it is pain.
This fear is located,
to the left of the brain.

We should be in ore,
so amazed by it all,
But instead tears pour,
‘cause our mind is a wall.

Our body is a temple,
That deserves our respect,
But when we get mental,
We get adverse affects.

The joining in union,
Of two human souls,
has its intrusions,
When four selves make a whole.

See the worlds natural wonders,
But as long as were split,
Then we’re thinking in numbers.
That’s a sign that we’re sick.

So far from our pinnacle,
Our left-brained ego erection,
Prevents us from seeing life’s miracle,
Conception.
